Dr. Nicolas Chronos is currently serving on the Scientific Advisory Board of the International Society for Cardiovascular Translational Research (ISCTR). As part of its mission, the ISCTR seeks to address the challenges of medical product development by enhancing collaboration among scientists, industry, regulatory and other medical experts. The ISCTR also looks at ways to improve efficiencies by formalizing a standard translational approach from concept to patient. Another component of the ISCTR is to foster the education of a new generation of medical innovators through the creation of online courses in universities and other educational programs.
