Nicolas Chronos, MD, FACC, FESC
Dr. Nicolas Chronos is director of Lake Country Medical Concierge. He is an internist and interventional cardiologist well known for groundbreaking research in heart disease treatment. Dr. Chronos specializes in general cardiology, coronary artery disease management and heart failure management. He is also an expert in cardiac regenerative medicine, cardiovascular medical device assessment and translational cardiovascular medicine. Dr. Chronos partners with the University Cancer and Blood Center, headquartered in Athens, Georgia, to provide cardio-oncology treatment.
Previously, Dr. Chronos worked at the Atlanta Cardiology Group, where he developed and served as CEO of the Saint Joseph’s Translational Research Institute. Dr. Chronos has held academic appointments at Duke University and Stanford University as a consulting professor of medicine and cardiology working with researchers in preclinical and clinical trials.
Dr. Chronos received a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine in London in 1987. He completed specialized training in cardiology and subsequently interventional cardiology at the Royal Brompton National Heart and Lung Institute in the UK. In 1992, he was awarded a British Heart Foundation International Fellowship and moved to the United States to continue his research in thrombosis and interventional cardiology at Emory University School of Medicine. He was named Director of Research at the Andreas Gruentzig Cardiovascular Center at Emory University Hospital in 1997.
Dr. Chronos is board certified by the Royal College of Physicians (London) in internal medicine and cardiology (FRCP). He is affiliated with Massachusetts General Hospital’s Vaccine and Immunotherapy Center and is a scientific advisor for the International Society for Cardiovascular Translational Research. A Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, the European Society of Cardiology and the Royal College of Physicians of London, he has published several books, more than 200 peer-reviewed articles, and authored a series of patents in the medical device field. As a speaker at major conferences and meetings both nationally and internationally, Dr. Chronos is highly sought after to share his intellectual and practical contributions in the field of cardiovascular medicine and research.

Grace Greenwald, RN
Clinical Director
Grace is a Lake Oconee local who draws from her clinical experience as an Emergency Nurse to bring a dynamic, patient-centered approach to our clinic. She strongly believes that time is your most valuable, yet limited resource. She helps to optimize our clinical flow to ensure our patients get the most out of their time spent with us.
Grace offers aesthetic services through her business, Refine with Grace, at our clinic. With eight years of dermatology and aesthetic experience, Grace has achieved advanced certification through her work at Dermani Medspa in Atlanta, The Injectable Academy, and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. Refine with Grace partners with Kay Greeveson, APNP & owner of Regents Park Aesthetics in London, and Dr. Christopher Assandra based out of Beverly Hills to offer our community cutting edge aesthetic services. Grace also offers thorough skin consultation, aesthetic injections, and a variety of treatment options to help you reach your safest, most natural results. Grace thoroughly educates her patients prior to treatment. She takes her time during treatments to ensure each result is optimal and comfortable. She gives her fullest attention and availability to follow up care so patients are supported every step of the way on their aesthetic journey.
Kim Warnock, NP-C
Nurse Practitioner
Kim is a Family Nurse Practitioner who brings over nine years of experience providing exceptional care for both acute and chronic illnesses. After years of working in the Emergency Department, Kim has seen the true value of comprehensive preventative medicine, diabetes care, and management of chronic illness and it has become her passion. Kim graduated with her Bachelor’s degree from Georgia College and State University in 2009. She then practiced as a registered nurse
in inpatient cardiology and Emergency Medicine. Kim became a Nurse Practitioner in 2013, graduating with a Master of Science in Nursing from Medical College of Georgia. Kim is board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. For the past nine years Kim has practiced Emergency Medicine in multiple Emergency Departments in the area, treating patients of all ages, complaints, and acuities.
This experience makes Kim exceptionally well rounded and capable of providing our patients with the absolute best healthcare. Kim and her husband have lived in the Lake Oconee area since 2009 and have three wonderful children. She enjoys time on the lake and traveling. She looks forward to taking care of patients and building relationships in the community she lives in.
Brittany Henderson, CMA
Patient Care Coordinator
Brittany has joined our concierge program as the patient care coordinator. Brittany brings with her an innate ability to provide compassionate care to our patients. She loves being able to provide personalized and caring services to our patients.
Brittany grew up in Cherokee County and she received her degree from the University of North Georgia. Outside of our office she loves to exercise, enjoy time with family & friends, and spend an afternoon on the lake with her silver lab Bentley. One interesting fact about Brittany is that she was a World Champion Cheerleader.
